Dues Payments and Membership FAQs
Who do I contact for more information about the club?
If you’d like more information about the club or attending a practice, game, or other event for the first time, be sure to fill out the Recruitment Form on this website and we will contact you ASAP.
Where do I show up?
We practice on Tuesday & Thursday nights at 7:00 pm. For the current training sites, visit the Training and Match Locations page. The club operates year-round with a break during the Holidays. The club fields a 15’s team during fall, winter and spring, and a 7’s team during the summer. Be sure to Like Us on Facebook or check the News Feed section on the home page for weather cancellations or changes to locations and times.
What if I’ve never played before?
No problem! Every season we have people who are new to the game come out to practice. We love to teach the game to anyone that’s willing to learn and has the mindset to put their body on the line for their teammates. We have players at all experience/fitness levels and are always looking for more to make the commitment.
Am I too old or young?
The club offers something for people of all ages. The age range of our active players is roughly 18-45 – from kids fresh out of high school to salty old veterans. The physical demands means playing isn’t for everyone, but there are plenty of opportunities to participate as a Club member, be it as a player, fan or volunteer.
How often do you play?
When we’re “in season”, generally every weekend. Check out the schedule for exact weekends.
Our typical cup season begins in September and ends in May. We also have summer Touch Rugby training sessions if you want to get a run around with some other players, or head to a weekend tournament for some game time.
How much does it cost?
You are more than welcome to come to a few practices at no cost to see if you’d like to join our club. If you’d like to join and “suit up” for a game, then we ask that you pay club dues for the season, typically $250 per season. Other costs will include a set of team socks and shorts, and shared travel expenses. Players are also required to register with USA Rugby for $90/year.
